White Collar Music is made up of veteran producer and mix engineers John Gordon and Paul Walker. Together they collectively have over 30 years of experience in the music industry and have collaborated with some of the largest names in music industry. In the height of their career, John and Paul worked together at Horizon Music Studio located in the Washington, DC. Horizon was one of the largest and most successful African American studios on the East Coast, known for being the best at producing dynamic sounds and chart-topping music. As Chief Recording Engineer, John Gordon oversaw thousands of recording sessions which contributed to the sound of many hit albums for artists DMX, Snoop Dog, Jodeci, No Limit, Dru Hill, Stacy Lattisaw, Montell Jordon, and the list goes on.

Starting out as a professional songwriter and producer John Gordon earned his first platinum record for 2 Live Crew’s historical album, Nasty as They Want to Be, and placed 3 songs with the legendary Prince– who also signed John’s songwriting partner to Prince’s female band The Uptown Dames.

Due to John’s musical gift for identifying rare talent, he discovered Raheem DeVaughn. John had the opportunity to extensively work in the studio with Stevie Wonder, as Production Coordinator & Recording Engineer of Raven Symone’s second album- which helped launch her successful Disney career. John also had the opportunity to work with another great in music- James Brown.

After coming off the Jackson 5 Reunion Tour in 2013, John Gordon got the musical bug and joined forces with Paul Walker once again. This time, to introduce a joint venture project called White Collar Music– a collaborative virtual platform designed to provide unsigned artists with various marketing, musical and consultant services. WCM’s goal is to give more indie artists, a label-like exposure, so they can be a competitive force in today’s ever evolving entertainment cyberspace.
